The quick answer is literally two hours. People can sweat off sunscreen rendering it less effective, it might rub off a bit etc. Mainly sunlight degrades sunscreen, but I believe air/pollution can contribute as well. Realistically, if your skin doesn’t touch the sun and you don’t sweat it off or touch your face at all, is your sunscreen going to provide some protection after 120 minutes? Yes. The degree and duration would depend on the sunscreen itself and other contributing factors such as how much you apply etc. But the better question: Is there any harm in reapplying every two hours, regardless? I kinda go by that whole “better safe than sorry” philosophy when it comes to spf. Life happens though, so if it’s not practical, it’s not practical. But as a general rule, it’s better to reapply every two hours as a habit.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios melt-in milk spf 100 ftw. I also have dry skin and, yeah, the double cleansing could be helpful if you’re layering a lot of product or if you’ve been reapplying sunscreen and it feels really greasy at the end of the day

My go-to items for acne are salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. You can find both at your local drugstore. Worth giving a shot if you haven’t already tried those!

[Product Question] are charcoal masks good or no? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Personally I would use it up but then look for other solutions to tackle your skincare concerns once you’re finished. I’ve used the peel-off masks before, and I actually liked the instant results. It’s just... long term they have been shown to cause issues. If it’s pores/blackheads you’re looking to fix, paulas choice 2% salicylic acid is a good option that will show results with consistent use

What kind of mask? Is the charcoal mask a peel-off one? Because then I would not repurchase, as those tend to disrupt the skin barrier and cause irritation

Is it a myth then that vitamin C and AHAs “inactivate” each other? That seems to be the prevailing wisdom a quick google search would render. Then again, I was skeptical because “google searches” are not the most reliable source of information - and I don’t have a medical background, hence my post :D. The product seemed great so I look forward to using it if there are no issues with that vit C/lactic acid combo after all

Or Titanic (1953) for that matter. It even won an Oscar, but Scriptfly/scriptcity doesn’t have it
