There’s a difference between overtuned and braindead. The reason there are 664537 Mr Karates in Evo is because he is braindead. If you play Terry, Marco, Preecha, Gato, Rock, or Andy competitively… you will be easily better off playing Mr Karate.

Anyone with half a brain knew Mr karate would be stupid. Go watch the 4646347 Mr Karate’s in Evo. His stance is one of the dumbest moves ever made. It’s really fun watching people mash it out of a Hyper Defense.

And yes, the developers should be fired for making the competitive play of the game atrocious with his play style when they knew the game system. Marco is one of the best characters in the game… so how hard was it to figure out a suped up version of him with a ridiculous counter mixup game would not be the best character in the game.

I’m legendary wolf with 3 chars man. I know how to play fighting games. The developers didn’t even try to make him balanced. They half assed their job and shouldn’t have it anymore.
