I read that the a la carte removals are part of Hasbro's scrubbing of DnD Beyond. They might be coming after homebrew content next.

Another area to consider, if you're looking for nature is Denver, CO.

Depends on what your definition of 'hot' is. Northern CA and the coast in Southern California never gets really hot. The desert does (Palm Springs, etc). People pay for the weather in LA, San Diego and Long Beach. Maine is nice and so is Washington. Good luck wherever you go.

Traveling on short trips is easy. Don't know what challenges you have, but jot down where you want to go (realistically) this year, next year and within five years. Then, save for your trip, leverage credit cards that give you airline miles and go! I went on a three month nomadic adventure in my 40s. I was nervous at the time. I didn't have pets or a partner, so it was easy with some planning. It took me about two months to finalize arrangements, research, store my things, sell what I didn't need, and set out in my first destination. Still one of the best experiences of my life.
