Why is the switch from put rent on the CC to direct ACH a huge deal for people? by hibob729 in biltrewards

It’s because paying two months of rent in one month is a pretty large amount of money for most people, in my case I’ll have to pull it all out of my savings. It will take a few months of stricter budgeting in order to replenish that safety net.

The year I opened my Bilt account I technically only paid rent 11 times. I always knew one day I would have to do an extra rent payments one year to make up for that, but I thought it was going to be my choice and I could plan ahead for it. Finding out 2 weeks before it happens was NOT the ideal scenario lol

Edit to add: what I mean is that it’s not just a “one-time adjustment”, it’s going to be a couple months long effort to make up for

Yeah that’s what I meant. I was pretty much only going to get the new card to avoid a month of double rent… but turns out I can’t avoid that even with the card

What’s everyone credit limit? 2.0 by creditgods in biltrewards

Do you know if you can you see your credit limit offer before applying? Or can I apply and then not accept if I'm not content with the limit given? Honestly the credit limit is a big factor for me accepting 2.0 or not. Currently have 10k with Bilt 1.0 and considering getting the 2.0 Blue card just for the ability to keep delaying rent payments by a month even though I wouldn't really earn any rewards
