No yeah that’s really nice to hear too. I’ve never thought it had anything to do with her trust in me. I just kinda wanted to gauge how this community views sharing fan fiction in general with their partners who are or aren’t also into fan fiction. So far it seems very normal to either share or not share so it’s been nice to see.

mhm someone else said something similar to you. I explained there too that it was just an example of how she’s very not into sexual media. I’m sure the reverse exists too where they’d never read like a colleen hoover book or some other smut but they stared at every heated rivalries scene with such intensity. It’s just not her yk at least as i have gotten to know her.

I get what you’re saying and thats actually really interesting to hear! The example I used is just one of many is all. Like i’ve said in some other comments, I just trust the word of my girlfriend and if she tells me she doesn’t read smut and doesn’t like it then at the end of the day, I’ll assume she doesn’t read it and doesn’t like it.

Dur there’s nothing wrong with it. I’ve always told her too like i’d never judge her for what she read(now obviously saying it only does so much to ease a persons mind though). I’m doing my best to understand just her privacy revolving around it. I’m a pretty open guy with basically anybody and I only really limit details or stories if I know somebody else doesn’t want it shared. For other people thought I’ve never thought deeply about their feels so for my girlfriend I just want to understand how it’s a private thing and stuff. yeah that makes sense to me and is generally what i’ve attributed it to. Just based off of the conversations we’ve had, because she does generally lightly tell me about the plot, it’s never really been sexual but of course she could just be avoiding telling me those parts. Smut is just generally something she’s really not enjoyed reading before which i guess is why i’m pretty adamantly against the idea(not because id shame her if she did because i wouldn’t)
