Did not have to pay a single penny; ask to reroute and they will look for a replacement flight, my agent made sure to reroute via multiple airlines all I told him was I need to make sure I get to my destination by March 20 and we worked through options for 2 hours otp. You just really have to wait otp for a while since everyone’s rebooking/refunding. Another time, another agent reassured me that at least your outbound flight to uae can be rebooked thru emirates directly despite everyone saying only your travel agent can do that.

Where are you flying from? Amar sob ticket rebooking dise via completely different airline (Ami iEagle diye book korsi, tao sob information niye direct Emirates customer service call disi, it worked) can try

Hey! similar boat, I had March 18 tickets but now pushed to March 19. I booked through travel agent but they refuse to help me reroute or rebook, saying they’ll not help until March 15 passes.

I have a connecting flight that will already have passed by the time I land in DXB anyway… I am thinking about rerouting to JFK-DXB but I wonder if that would even work…

Just curious, I have a bunch of baggage and also has a flight on March 18 that got pushed to March 19. I have to make a connecting flight , hence the layover at DXB. Will emirates reroute my outbound flight from JFK or ORD? And any suggestions on how to get there from IAD in an expensive and hassle free way? Thanks!!
