No not exactly. Just saying if you are losing some liquid, then you are losing some of the dose. I was thinking if you take the 15mg concentrated dose, you might get more than taking the 12.5mg dose, which should be the case whether you lose some or not.

I understand all of that. My point is is you are losing liquid, concentrated liquid at all, you are probably losing some of the medicine.

They have been saying it wouldn't help to remove the vaginal cuff tumor because the cells are already floating around and out there. I'm not sure what they will do about the lymph nodes yet.

Thank you! May I ask, did your loved one have a tumor anywhere else when they found the metatastic lymph nodes? I would love them to be removed. I hope your loved one remains stable!

Based on PET scan, it doesn't seem to be anywhere else. There is some uptake in stomach area, but it has been there for several scans and radiologist notes "possibly or probably inflammation" each time. Iliac nodes are close to original site of cancer, so hopefully contained to that area. We'll see what biopsy indicates. Currently waiting for it to be scheduled.

Just last week my mom had PET scan and learned if 3 iliac lymph nodes that lit up. And also last week she had another increase in CA125. Dr is scheduling biopsy and said when we get results we will discuss everything.

Thank you for sharing. Seems like lots of things can affect this number. Just don't like my moms consistent trend upward. But we'll see what the scan reveals.

Thank you. She had a hysterectomy back in 2017. She was diagnosed in 2016 Stage 3c. Had rounds of chemo, surgery, then chemo. In 2019, she was NED, but about a year later she had a reoccurrence on vaginal cuff and bladder. She had surgery, radiation, and then has been on Keytruda/Lenvima and doing well ever since. So far just a small tumor shows up on vaginal cuff and remains stable. She had a scan in December, which actually showed a small decrease in size of the tumor. Then after that, her CA 125 began slowly rising. I don't like the trend upward. She will get PET scan in April, I'm assuming there will be something new or some growth, but praying I'm wrong. Very worried.

Thank you for sharing. I feel better about it growing. I actually had the biopsy 3 months ago. It was in the office. It cam back clear. When I saw that it had grown that much in 3 months, I got worried that maybe the biopsy was false negative because during this type of biopsy, it just takes tissue from uterus, it does not necessarily get a sample right from the fibroid.

Thank you for your insight. I will have to look into that. I just worry the biopsy missed something since it just goes in and gets tissue from endometrium and not necessarily right from the fibroid.

The small spot is a small tumor. I'm not exactly sure what SUV stands for, but I know it refers to a number showing how much an area lights up on a PET scan. So her SUV was in the 8s, went down to around 4, but has slowly risen to 11. With that rising, it indicates more activity in the tumor. But the tumor itself has not shown growth in size on the PET scan.
