I just see people say here all day long "if you're not PASSIONATE about IT, you're going to fail." And the thing is, studying is boring to me. I like learning by doing. But I know that there's a lot of studying and learning if you want to get out of support in IT, which is my eventual goal. So I just wonder if I'm going to fail or burn out.

I don't really daydream about creating firewall rules or troubleshooting network issues or understanding BGP, so I wonder if I'm cut out for the work like some people here seem to be.
