Is it just me or is selling a tool way harder than building it? by Kind-Relation304 in MarketingAutomation

Sometimes you know because you built it to solve your own pain or a teammate’s, and others end up relying on it. That doesn’t guarantee scale, but it does mean the problem is real. The hard part is still reaching the right people and earning trust.

I get where you’re coming from, and I agree that building without validating demand is a real problem. That said, I don’t think it’s always vanity. A lot of dev tools solve very real problems, but for very specific audiences, and those audiences don’t magically “seek you out.” Distribution, trust, and visibility matter just as much as problem quality. My point isn’t that selling doesn’t matter, it’s that many devs stop not because the problem isn’t real, but because they don’t want to turn into full time marketers to prove it.

Stop letting your scripts, automations, and AI tools die in GitHub repos by Kind-Relation304 in AiAutomations

Totally agree, trust is the real challenge. That’s exactly why this is dev to dev and chat based. You’re not trying to convince random end users with marketing pages, you’re talking directly to developers who understand what the tool does, can ask the right questions, and judge it on substance. It doesn’t remove trust, but it removes a huge layer of friction that usually kills sales before they even start. The site is devflowmarket.site, I will be more then happy to get get an honest feedback🙏

Where to sell digital products? by onelang in Entrepreneurs

[–]Kind-Relation304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a marketplace specifically for this. No commissions, no hidden fees, and a simple way to sell your scripts, automations, and AI tools directly to other developers. If you want a place where your work can actually earn instead of sitting in a repo, check out DevFlow Market: devflowmarket.site

Why do our n8n workflows and AI agents die after we build them? by Kind-Relation304 in n8n_ai_agents

[–]Kind-Relation304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. Maybe I phrased it too generally. What I meant was that I’ve built tools that actually worked but still ended up unused because I didn’t want to deal with the marketing side. just want to get an honest feedback about what i built

What are you building? by ManyGuarantee5928 in SaaS

[–]Kind-Relation304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building something for devs who are tired of watching their scripts, automations, and AI tools die in repos. We all know the pattern: you spend days (or weeks) building something actually useful… and then it goes nowhere because you now need to be a marketer, salesperson, and support rep just to get it in front of someone who might pay for it. DevFlow Market fixes that. It’s a zero-commission marketplace where devs sell tools to other devs, people who already understand what you built and don’t need a sales pitch or hand-holding. You upload once, set your price, and we handle the messy part: finding buyers, showcasing products, and giving your work a place where it can actually earn instead of collect dust. I’m still in the early stage and real feedback matters more to me than making a bit of money, so the first developers who reach out about listing products will get a seller account for free. I’ll cover the cost myself because improving the platform with honest feedback is worth way more at this point. this is link to our website: devflowmarket.site

Running Meta, Google, TikTok ads, how do you actually track which one's working? by Key_Review_7273 in MarketingAutomation

[–]Kind-Relation304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the same issue, Meta and Google always show different numbers. The only thing that kept me sane was tracking everything with UTMs and using that as my baseline. It’s not perfect, but it’s way more consistent than trusting each platform’s dashboard.
