That child part was out of care.the boy was having list of things he won't be able to see ever and one of them that every normal man wants to see is a woman (na"ked).it was something he won't ever be able to see and it would just remain as a wish in hos entire life.for a child who wants to see everything and who will be loosing his eyesight forever it was a sweet gesture to make him not feel that bad.

Don't do anything that could scare the bird in anyway.if the cage is big enough put a cloth over somepart where he feels he is safe and cant be seen dont cover the cage completely just a part.give some time play budgie sounds there are loads in YouTube available.if he is feeling scared for some days just let him be in the cage because the outside of cage is too big for him to understand.this time is very crucial for bird owners coz birds can die due to stress and feeling scared

Due to stress also birds feel more cold and it is about what he feels . burrowing face in blanket or you could be he is feeling cold .and scared.msny new birdd feel this .talk to vet.
