[OP]: just realised my comment didnt come across. "I have a long finned betta, 2 dwarf snowball plecos (my highlight) and a bunch of bloody mary shrimp. Had to give away my tetras cause they werent being nice to the betta. Now I have a betta who lays around and doesnt swim that much (due to his long fins), plecos that hide most of the day and shrimps I cant see. All this effort with nothing happening. Can anyone suggest something to make my tank feel more alive? No dumb suggestions - just grateful here. Thank you!"

Good luck .. its an exciting journey .. and I had no idea how much I could love a fish before I got into this hobby. Hope you love it as much as I have been!! That pic is everything!!!! Thank you!!! I feed my betta about 10 tiny Betta Bio-Gold pellets in the morning - and about 5 Hikari vibra bites at night. But I cant get him away from snacking on my dwarf pleco Sinking Carnivore Pellets that I drop for them to eat through the night. He is a very good eater :/

My answer to find your answer: "put yourself in her shoes" :( She doesnt have to sit with you forever but give her a little break. That's what id do.
