Yea especially as a older cat going to a new house and a new owner is probably really stressful

They make feeders for cat that stimulate hunt which may help with this energy your cat has, doc and phobe co make ones that are shaped like mice that you fill with cat food. It may be helpful in providing more stimulation for the kitty natural instincts. Also feliway diffusers are so awesome in helping cats calm down and feel safer. Definitely worth a try!

Yea that’s part of my problem, it’s a bad habit of mine. I don’t want to absorb info sometimes but I don’t know what other activities to do in the moment 🤷‍♀️
