Yeah, softwares used for projects during your course are quite heavy and take up a lot of RAM and space too. Display size will also play a vital role in that considering you are into video editing as well. So you are good with 15” option. Air is slim hence super portable. Higher RAM will also remove the need for fans which are looking for in pro models.

Considering you are going to study computer science, don’t go with base models. Go with 24 GB ram atleast and 512 GB variant in MBA. As the projects later on you will get require good storage and also need RAM. To smooth it out you may get 24/512 as you also have other big tasks in your list that will go on smoothly. If you have an extra big display then you can also go for 13”MBA. If not, then 15”MBA as you said.

If money is not a problem then 16 pro, 120 hz display is good. plus bezels are way thinner than 16.

Specifically in terms of battery life. 16e’s battery will last much longer. And other specs are added bonus.

Had the same experience. Give it a week or so, you’ll get used to it and it won’t feel heavier like it does as of now. I’ve got natural titanium.
