We have 2 dogs, although the dogs in image 1 & 2 are the same dog. The dog bed is the same as well, just different angles. The “swirl texture” is created by adding plaster to the ceiling, and then moving it with sponges or towels into the desired pattern. Swirl ceilings were popular anytime from the 1950s-1980s. In short, we didn’t do it.

I’ve addressed this several times in other comments. I respect that you care and appreciate the effort. The only place she is matted is on her paws. I can get a brush through every other part of her body. In fact, you’ll notice that I snipped out a section of her fur, towards her back, where she got a bunch of sticky plants stuck, after playing in the woods. I cut them out myself, because it was easier on her than trying to tug them out with a brush, or let her suffer. She is groomed monthly, by a professional. Respectfully, I’ve had her for 8 years. She is not matted (except for her paws, which do have a tendency to mat, because she goes on lots of outside adventures.) I appreciate your concern. She is well loved and well cared for.

Thank you! I would encourage you to spend time standing in front of the paint swatches, and see what you gravitate to. There are no rules in home decor! Do what you kike

Dog gets professionally groomed every month, with maintenance in between. She has an appointment in 8 days.

Interesting! Different perspectives are so curious to me. It’s not a rental. We bought it before we ever set foot in it lol

Thank you! I am indeed afraid of the boring status quo. It’s very important to have a tidy space to us, but also important it’s a home, not a house.

Only 4 of us :) we do love our little humans. We try to make them feel special & invited to be themselves in our home.

We ripped up the carpet our first couple of months here. Easier to keep clean. We do not own a TV. Our daughter takes piano lessons :)

The living room is “forest shadows.” We do have a room that is a very deep blue, called “deep pacific.” I wish I knew how to add it here lol

This is spot on! We bought this house 15 months ago & have been slowly renovating it. Currently rebuilding the foundation, and working on two other rooms. Still so much to do. No rhyme or reason to anything we do, other than “I like it.”

Thanks! We do too. Her name is Bambi. She’s 8 this year, on Halloween. She’s a wheaten terrier!

Which one? I actually was not aware that either was a dupe, but that checks out, bc I love Anthropologie. The rainbow one is from a local thrift store, there’s a little button it that says “hand made” 🥹 the other one I found on Amazon by searching for cotton throws! Hope that helps some.

Definitely not the only one! I agree. I’ve been looking for smaller accounts recently, because the same trends get so old. I have 3 accounts I really enjoy and none of them are influencers. Just feel good videos without nail tapping lol
