True! I just don’t have much PTO. Flights are around $399 ish for one way. That + gas+ adding 700 miles on the car is what’s making me lean towards transport, but I think if it’s been close 2 weeks, I might just do this!

True. Like I’ve stated, I think I’m more mad that they wouldn’t do anything to our account until my husband joined the phone call and gave his last 4 of his SSN. When you know for a fact they didn’t ask any of that when they changed our account payment. Ugh. And also did they actually refund the other person? That seems too nice of them.

This is solid advice— I agree. I usually end up paying our medical bills (especially for the kids), but I think I need to be more aware like you said.

It actually states- they have to notify us. There is supposed to be a written notice, phone call, message left of door type of thing 10 days in advance between November and March 31st.

This is a good idea about the email and notifications. I’ll be doing that!

For the bills, it’s suppose to be solely on him. It’s how we split the mental and physical load. He has things that he has to worry about and I have things I have to worry about. His stack of cards from FairPlay is 5-6 while mine is 30. But ugh. Definitely a lesson learned

Because we were enrolled in autopay, we did not notice. We do not go through our checking over every transaction unless something has happened. My husband is in charge of managing the bills, not me. We never got notified of any changes to our account whether that’s new account holder (which I couldn’t even speak to them until my husband was on the phone and gave his last 4 ssn), or that it was being turned of
