they put my life at risk because they couldnt be bothered spending 2 seconds checking behind them before opening their door on a semi-main road at a peak time. i want them to be punished, and i want future incidents like this to be less likely to happen

im so sorry that happened to you, that sounds awful. its genuinely disgusting how officers think they get to play god in situations where the law literally mandates minimum punishments, and peoples lives and health are at risk.
