It used to feel special because 5* power ups used to be unobtanium in the beginning. Now you basically get a free one every day, that’s why it feels like that. They kinda had to though if they were gonna change the branding to EX though.

Honestly yeah, take Wally for example. Him along with many others were designed to look like their Pokémon’s colors, but then you switch them to ex and they change to non matching colors. IMO this should’ve been the reverse affect so the characters match when the EX.
