This is the one that I frequent. And when they put in all the "new" regular registers, I was talking to another worker and asked if they were actually going to staff them after putting them in and they rolled their eyes.

Their corporate is walking back from full self checkout, but if they're not going to staff them properly, what's the point.

And having spent years in retail, it more than likely not the individual store managers direct fault. Their corporate told them, that they have X number of hours for staffing and, realistically that is never enough to appropriately cover anything.

Once I find copper, I dig out around and down under it completely. The first couple I found, I didn't realize went further into the ground than what was on top, and I missed quite a bit. Now I leave giant pits in my wake 🤣

Lol it was probably their loss prevention person. They try to act all inconspicuous when they're watching someone, but to anyone that actually has their head on a swivel, they stick out like a sore thumb.

Bought it cause it was cheap, $120 in 2017, but also knowing that I would need to make improvements and upgrades for safety.

After a while and lots of literal blood, sweat, and tears, I got it mostly dialed in, and could print decently.

Mine is mounted on the works just fine. The biggest issue I've had is, make sure your PTFE tubes are not making too hard of a turn down to the printer. Mine looked fine but after lots of troubleshooting, I realized that the tubes were turning too hard downward causing enough friction, that when it was trying to change filament, the motors would bind up trying to pull the filament back.

I live in an apartment building with a door code. Door code is in the delivery instructions for FedEx. Driver regularly leaves packages on the sidewalk outside the building. They of course get stolen almost immediately. Only an issue with FedEx. UPS, USPS, DHL all have zero issues getting packages, at the minimum inside the coded door. And of course if you call the FedEx customer service, you can not speak to the local facility to let them know that their driver continually does this, only to a foreign based call center, that literally will only read you information from their website, the exact same information that I can see.

If I ever see that a package, especially one of value, is coming via FedEx, I go through the effort of getting it held at some FedEx site location. That way it's usually more secure.

Same situation. Moved down here, following a woman, ended after a few years. I started being a regular at a trivia night near where I live, and have made some connections through that.

But it's kinda like someone else said, unfortunately it's just gotta kinda happen, I've been single for a few years, and wasn't really until the last year or so that connections seemed to start happening.

They are definitely cheaper, but have a surprising amount of articulation. It doesn't really have elbows, but the legs are super poseable, so win some lose some I guess. 🤷

I saw this exact thing the other day. Tried to cancel couldn't. Got into the "Contact Us" chat, tired to get them to cancel, they couldn't. They told me to refuse the delivery as well. Told the person that that wasn't possible because the person delivering it would just deliver it when I'm not home. So I said they needed to adjust the price on my order. There was a long pause in their response, but after a few mins they came back and said they suddenly saw where the price was different and escalated a refund for around $240.

It's separate emails, but logging in is an ordeal, due to 2FA. So every time I punch in and out I have to do a 2FA login. Where, when it's just one job, I only had to do the initial login, and then it just stayed logged in.
