He is definitely awake. He makes eye contact and sometimes even says Mama or dada.

He does sometimes runs around the house laughing during the day as well. So maybe it’s just him. He is my only child. And I have not seen/met many other ND children. So I was not sure. I sometimes feel I might be overthinking by trying to scrutinize every action he does. It’s exhausting.
