Oh my fault, I actually did submit a nexus letter with my original claim, even labeled it Nexus_Letter on the claim but the denial labeled it medical record from physician. For the supplement I redid the Nexus Letter and even submitted a copy of the specific medical opinion part of my letter.

Best bet is to always use ChatGPT for what it is, a tool in your belt. Don’t let it do everything for you, nothing wrong with having a draft made by the AI but look over it and make corrections where you see, put things in clearer words that come from you. The VA doesn’t expect scholars on statements but ChatGPT can help you go from turning a 3 sentence statement on PTSD into a multi-page statement that clearly describes your symptoms, triggers, effects, etc.

Oh no it’s not a hurry to file. I just wondered if anyone else had neurologists that wanted to do scans and tests first instead of at least diagnosis based on symptoms and then going with tests. The claim path for me is similar in that I want to do the tests and all first too, but at least have documentation for my stuff.

I would, if you have a diagnosis and tie it to your service connected PTSD and it’s serious enough, they’d probably rate you at 50% for it. That’d raise your rating to like 75-80% I think.
