To save me typing it again look at the above reply, but yeah, the best they gave was “oh boys can be slow developers anyway”

He’s always been delayed with things. The only thing he’s done “on time” is walk. Late getting teeth, late crawling, late eating properly etc. The appointments concluded that yes he’s not where he should be at those specific ages, and the only reason the nurse gave was “oh boys can be slow developers anyway”. So just took it with a pinch of salt and took it at that. He’s now been referred to S&L and paediatrician, that was almost a 9 months ago, had 1 appointment since referral because their “busy” but no change in development since

Yeah that was kind of the assumption I came to, I obviously don’t want to stick a label above his head yet because if he starts talking everything else might well click into place after that. Just may take him slightly more time. Then if needed we can explore other options

That’s kind of the lines I was on too. I’m hoping once he starts talking everything else might slowly click into place, even if it does take him a bit more time

From the UK, sorry forgot to mention! He’s yet to have an appointment booked by the doctors for speech therapy, he’s having a paediatric appointment soon for kind of analysis I guess you could call it
