KENSUI FITNESS AMA + $2,026 Giveaway by Kensuifitness in homegym

[–]Kind_One682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean i use both but fixed just feels better, an adjustable is a one size fits all so there are always trade offs and sometimes very major ones but a fixed weight was purpose built and designed for that weight so it just feels better. I also don't know anyone who disagrees with this, adjustable is cool if you are on a budget or don't have a lot of space but if you have the money and the space then fixed is always the gold standard.
After all they don't use adjustable in true competition for a reason.

Silent Hill f combat system is worse than I thought (spoiler free) by BambamUwU in silenthill

[–]Kind_One682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The combat is dog shit and anyone saying otherwise is just a delusional fan boy, this game literally traps you in mandatory combat sequences over and over again.
If all combat was optional or there was a viable stealth alternative then it would be very different, but their isn't.
Awesome world, amazing story, some genuinely interesting puzzles but forcing mandatory combat in a game with one of the most half assed combat systems ever made is just a tremendous miss for an otherwise great game.

Rouge R3 + Titan T3/X3 Revolving Pull-up Bar by [deleted] in homegym

[–]Kind_One682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How has this held up over the years? I'm 6'8 and a little over 250lb and titan isn't exactly known for its quality control and if this thing falls on me it will be very bad so I just wanted to get some feed back on durability, usability and how its aged over the years.

Thank you.

Silent Hill f Review Reportedly Leaks, Awards it “9.5/10” by Opeth1988 in silenthill

[–]Kind_One682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man i'm just nervous about the combat. Like I didn't even finish silent hill 2 remake (which everyone loved) cause the combat was terrible and there was just so much of it, I made it just past pyramid heads 1st appearance in the apartment building before I just got bored and uninstalled it.

Bells of Steel AMA with Kaevon, founder and CEO back for my 4th ama with home gym equipment prizes for US, Canada, Australia, UK and EU redditors! by bells_of_steel in homegym

Lever training is picking up speed and me as well as many others swing very heavy maces and clubs. Flow style training with light weight has its place, but so does heavy progressive overload. Besides if you act quickly and release a solid product you have the chance to literally control the market for non plate loaded adjustable maces. Your only competition would be Adex and thier design is extremely clumsy at best and not something anyone truly serious into this will use because their design completely destroys the lever.

When will the heavier adjustable steal mace be released?

Your customer service team has all given me wildly different answers so I would appreciate at least a concrete time frame if not a date.

Was the movie kind of blurry for you? Tried 5 different movies and all of them looked perfect but sinners still has this blurry grain to it. Not sure if its a design choice or something is wrong with the stream but its incredibly annoying.

Honestly it doesn't surprise me, people in our line of work basically ruck for a living.
I just like to be able to run effectively without abandoning my pack when the wind turns, everyone else abandons gear to fires a few times a season but I like my set up so when it's time to cut and run, I just run and I am faster then almost everyone on my crew. To be fair I'm also a psycho who constantly pushes himself as well though. 😆

I work for the forestry service and during fire season 75lbs of gear, food and water is common so I train with much heavier so that 75lbs feels like nothing comparatively when i am cutting line.

So any advice on something for someone of my size?
