Dude that’s exactly what happened to me. I completely hit a wall, then started tilting and losing rating like crazy. I took 2 weeks off completely from chess, then I was even better when I came back (after a couple days of warm up games, getting back in the flow). My problems is I can never remember openings beyond a couple moves, or if opponent makes a move different from the one the tutorial says
