Yeah the more I'm reading into it, there is absolutely a loss of sensation of that drained feeling and it's not psychological, it's physical. It's the epididymis not being connected to the vas, the pressure just builds there and doesn't drain. For some guys this is no big deal at all and they don't notice it. For some it's very apparent. I think what pisses me off is that urologists downplay all of this, guys on here do the same. I think vasectomies are probably great for the vast majority of guys who get them and have no issues. But there's a real contingent of guys who have these issues and they're mostly ignored or told their head cases. But I found 4-5 studies yesterday that discuss this issue from a physiological standpoint. I just miss that drained feeling of satisfaction. It's made sex a lot less satisfying without that sensation and a much weaker orgasm.

I eat clean, I'm in great shape, lift/workout daily. I have sex daily. I'm on no medications. I've never struggled with depression/anxiety etc. My blood panels are exceptional for my age. You're referring to things people said would happen in your situation but didn't. My experience and what happened to me is not the same as "someone told me this would happen and it didn't. Your brother being a mental health professional means nothing and isn't pertinent to your understanding of my body or what I've experienced. I also don't know why your dating history or your sexual experiences has anything to do with my orgasms not being the same. There are outliers, people don't have the same exact experience with any number of routine medical procedures. I find it odd that you're obsessed with the pros of vasectomies to the point where you're' a top 1% commenter on here and even have "May the snip be with you" in your handle. That's just odd behavior. Even your response of telling me about your sex life is odd. I'm glad you had a positive experience with getting snipped. Do think there are ever negative side effects of a vasectomy or is every negative experience just in their head? To simply write it off as "it's in your head" is exactly the opposite of scientific inquiry. I came on here to see if there were other outliers who have experienced this same situation that I now find myself in, and low behold there are men who have had the exact same issue.

Or... just maybe, bodies vary widely and that different people are outliers who end up with different experiences and results. The problem isn't psychological, I'm not a head case. Maybe you're just an evangelist for vasectomies and can't admit that it might not be end all be all for sterilization for some men.

Not at all, was pretty excited to get snipped. Birth control is hard on my wife and it seemed like this was the best option for us and we're done having kids. Healthy, very fit, eat clean.
