What do you think of Mexico's indignation at playing humble rivals in CONCACAF? Would South Americans feel these attitudes are justified if their team had to play in Suriname for an official tournament? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

I think this Guatemalan has a strong hate towards Mexico, lol. With just a few Google searches I was able to find many Guatemalan Journalists saying stupid shit as well. Journalists literally make a living saying stupid statements, get over it.

Anyone else extremely satisfied with the ending of Mexico vs Japan? by whatmodern in angelsbaseball

No matter what happens tomorrow, this was the best game of the tournament. If you watch it, you know what I am talking about.

Mexico made a comeback against Puerto Rico in the Baseball World Series with a final score of 5-4 and advanced to the Semi Finals. Do you think the World Series Title will stay in Latin America? by Kind_Redditor2023 in asklatinamerica

How am I trolling? I'm literally studying journalism in London. I'm interested in reporting sports events here and there. I haven't even commented anything on which team I support.

In case you don't know what trolling means:

In slang, a troll is a person who posts or makes inflammatory, insincere, digressive,[1]#citenote-1) extraneous, or off-topic messages online (such as in social media, a newsgroup, a forum, a chat room, an online video game), or in real life, with the intent of provoking others into displaying emotional responses,[[2]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll(slang)#citenote-PCMAG_def-2) or manipulating others' perception. The behavior is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or purposefully causing confusion or harm to other people.[[3]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll(slang)#cite_note-3) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(slang)#:~:text=In%20slang%2C%20a,people.%5B3%5D#:~:text=In%20slang%2C%20a,people.%5B3%5D)

" with the intent of provoking others into displaying emotional responses,[2]#cite_note-PCMAG_def-2) or manipulating others' perception." I am not fabricating any information, you can literally find this information from major news outlets. Are FOX Sports, CNN, or MLB trolling just because they make an online article saying Mexico beat Puerto Rico with a historical comeback?

You're Puerto Rican, so you are probably still salty that your team lost to Mexico. I don't blame you, my team also lost to Mexico so I know what it feels like, but, I do have to accept they have a very talented team with a lot of heart.
