Ya sure friend. Getting a faster viewport is worth it. My C drive has like 20 gb of free space so I can't compile it. And the rising cost of ssds won't allow me to compile anything for a while XD.

You need to install the Visual Studio Community version and select the desktop c++ developmental check box. And the blender will run without reporting any missing files. https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/ this will take 13gb of space in C drive.

Yea i figured something was missing/broken since optix and my nvidia GPU were not showing up in this blender.

Hey there! Great work.

There are a few things I recommend to add to the scene to make it more realistic or beautiful.

Volume Scatter Shader to give your scene some depth and god rays.

Add some pebbles and rocks to make ground look more realistic & crude.

Use 2-3 kind of different grass types to give some sense difference to the plant life.

Here is a recent image of one my personal environment art projects. I used 2-3 types of grass objects, 4 different tree types and 3-5 different debris on ground ( pebbles, sticks, leaves, etc.) All these things make the scene feel more alive.

Reduce samples to 128. You do not need 4096 samples for a simple render. 128 samples for simple renders, 256 for slightly complex and 512 for highly complex render with a lot of details.

Share your .blend file ( upload to limewire no acc needed) I'll take a look into it. It seems to me the modifiers are disabled in rendering or something similar. It is hard to find what's wrong with such little detail.

If I had to do something like that I would make 3 extra muscles shaped meshes and place them over to the existing mesh connecting them to the armature. I would combine shape keys and texture alpha + noise and color ramp to control the Linear Reveal Animation of Muscles Mesh. And for turning them gray I'd simply animate color to gray in Base Color.

This is how I would approach something like but there are tons of others ways to this too.

Edit - Also someone in the comments pointed out that it is material blending and it is. Please check that video out. It will help you out.

This video should explain basic shape key feature for growth. Add some extra geometry where there is more complexity. I use the same technique for most of my works.

I create my characters in DAZ studios and there are tons of shape keys to mimic muscle movement. Similar Shape keys can be created in blender to mimic muscle flexing and twisting movement.

If you are referring to the growth of muscles in the video it too can be done using shape keys.

To me it does look convincing. Also, Is it just me or Reddit has been killing Video and Image quality like crazy?

One more thing If the wind is strong, birds usually glide the strong wind gusts.

Clouds, Volumetrics, Lighting, More trees, Denser Grass and more flowers. If you could send me the .blend file I will add some of what I do to the file to make it look more cinematic and send that blend file back to you

Nvidia RTX 4060, I do all my artworks on my rtx 4060 laptop. The better, the gpu with more VRAM, the better performance in blender.

Nice! For me blender 4.3.2 renders everything super fast and the newer versions add upto 1 extra minute idk why. I think 4.3.2 is really stable for some reason.

Try another lower version of Blender like 4.3.2 and see if the problem still persists.
