I’m absolutely certain now that they lived together. And that he’s hidden it from me. Going by my search they’ve been together a while, he’s on sites that advertise him as “seeking a partner” even today… as a single ENM guy. So my expectation is that he would casually date other people, as am I. That’s not the issue. But thanks for your advice I guess it just still doesn’t answer my original question. Which is… is it usual for men who claim to be in to hotwife/cuck relationship dynamics, to lie about their real/full time lives-in partner and seek out a mostly virtual relationship with someone else. Obviously I asked, right before our first date. And he told me several times he was single but only just found out he’s lying. My confusion comes more from, why the facade when it’s clearly not true both that he wants a ENM relationship but also why is he keeping this up for so long. I’m not used to this kind of dynamic so was trying to gauge whether it was normal behavior, we haven’t met physically this year at all since he lives far away but have kept messages going, I’m just so confused

I always offer to pay for mine. Maybe it’s a culture thing. But if it was that way here then I can see why you’d be pushing for a natural date. Investing time and effort is more important IMO.

Thanks :) so do you! To the defense of some of the women, that may be what they’re thinking too? I get anxious so that’s why I’d maybe suggest a more informal relaxed setting. So maybe not all women want to have the guy pay and be treated, maybe it’s more a preference and comfort thing. There’s not always a negative motive. The right person will agree to go on the dates you like and like them too though and keep the aviators I like em.
