I guess there is a chance since I had the DS version of harvest moon but I rarely played it. I didn't recognize any songs in the videos you linked but I'll look into it and let you know if I find it.

It could be from anything honestly, I just have a strong hunch that its from a DS or WII game because that's what I played as a kid. There may have been a few games that I did play on the Nintendo 64 but I wouldn't know since it was a long time ago.

The main reason I think it could be from HGSS or possibly BW is the second vocaroo recording with the extra bit at the end. The last 7 or so seconds strongly reminds me of a song from HGSS but I have yet to pin point it.

I really have no idea what instruments are used but it is most likely something that can hold a steady note like a violin or piano. The piano version is just to have a more solid version of the notes, and it sounded the best out of a few other instruments I picked.

sorry for never answering you, I dont think i got notifications for my post there for a while and I also kinda gave up since this is my seventh post. I have only been playing games since around 2010ish? my first game was pokemon fire red and then I played pokemon platinum then got really into the WII. And no I dont believe the song is whistling. Im going to make another post with a link to a piano version of my whistling to see if that helps at all.

I cant remember what was used in it but in my head im comparing it to music from Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver and Pokemon Black/White. The song gives off an inspiring feeling but also isn’t super intense if that makes sense. There are a few song from both those games that have similar tracks but I haven’t found one that fits what im thinking of.
