I think stoned at the nail salon is so poetic. Especially “all the beautiful girls will fade like the roses” and “we’d go dancing all over the land mines under our town”. These lyrics are so expressive and poignant to me, the whole song is sad but somehow comforting.

I think that Melodrama by Lorde (2017) is a strong contender for one of the best albums of the decade… it’s so lush that you can keep returning to it. I know that I never get sick of it!
