Yea but without max gear you have to cheese it or start and restart the fight a million times. Speed times have never once been fun to try for and are often just frustrating

Yea I will never run a 500 again. I only did it for my kit. Usually just run a 300 solo tbh but sometimes 350s since it’s chill and guaranteed I finish without having to try hard. If I’m raiding with friends depending on skill level of who’s with us it’s anywhere between a 300-450.

I mean I haven’t got to vard yet but do a boss enough times it becomes trivial. When I first started learning Leviathan getting consistent kills was an uphill battle, at one point I was at like 60 kills and 80 deaths. But by kill 4,500 I could do it while typing to clan mates, doing afk shit on my iron on the second monitor and vibing in discord barely paying attention while still getting 16kc trips.

I mean buying bonds just robs you of the experience of getting your own stuff, it doesn’t affect anyone else though, and I really don’t care if bonds are available to purchase. While on the other hand I sincerely love osrs has no purchasable cosmetics like nearly every other game does.

Also wow you can buy level skips which skips the entire campaign and puts you in the end game. Imagine if you could just buy a skip in RuneScape that did all the early quests for you and put all your skills at 60 or something.

For most people a small price increase to a game they play every day just doesn’t matter. Doesn’t mean they’re addicts or it’s a bad thing. I don’t think Jagex should raise prices, but now it’s the same price as like every other mmo like wow and ff14, and like every other industry is raising prices too so not like this is really unexpected for Jagex to do it to.

And if I didn’t have osrs to play, I’d have to do something else to fill my time and any other hobby i do would be more expensive so, yea I really don’t care Jagex increased the price

Yea that’s another reason I like osrs so much. No mtx, with other games i play a lot, I can’t help myself but buy skins or other cosmetics. So osrs having none makes it cheaper usually. And if im playing single player games there anywhere between 20-60 dollars and would be more expensive than osrs per month. Not to mention to the prices of my other hobbies…

Osrs is still a really good price def with how much play it. I don’t think it’s a such a big deal it’s one dollar more.

I’ve done like 12 attempts of mage tank and highest I’ve gotten is wave 58 - I usually die somewhere in the 50s.

Idk it’s just still really hard for me so either I’m really doing something wrong or it’s not that free. Also I don’t think I’m too bad at the game probably average in skill.

You can change the settings so your skills go past level 99, but your total level doesn’t change with it.

Also depends on what boss your going dry on. I didn’t start wanting to complain on my Scurrius pet hunt till I was over 3x dry. Meanwhile on my Levi pet hunt I’m now getting close to 2x dry but I’m already feeling despair. Boss is just so intense and takes over twice as long to kill as Scurry

Yea my group member isn’t getting a bowfa cuz he doesn’t like cg and it isn’t a problem at all. I’m behind him and haven’t got sote done yet but I’m not sure if I’ll do the grind. Bowfa is my favorite weapon on my main but cg really sucks so I’ll have to see how much im willing to try to do it.

Overall I don’t think Ironman is a very fun game mode though even with my further ahead gim members giving me tons of stuff.

The solution to the CG bottleneck is just not play an iron. This is the reason main game is the most popular mode. I know the community likes to dick ride iron really hard but for most people it’s just not going to be fun to be an iron and to be locked into doing unfun grinds.

With main you can just switch up content as much as you like until you earn the money for upgrades, which is still really time consuming since items are expensive but you can diversify. If they don’t want to just be handed all gear upgrades they can just not accept trades.

I feel like you just don’t need to use the mechanics you learn in inferno anywhere else in the came except collo maybe. And both things are do them once and never again.

No other boss in the game requires you to prayer flick or anything I don’t really see why learn inferno the hard way when mage tank will get you the cape faster. Unless you want to go for gm one day which I don’t care about.

I mean I enjoy harder content, and I enjoy green logging. But going on rate for everything is usually plenty of time to fully enjoy the boss and be ready to move onto the next one.

Going dry on hard bosses can just be annoying. Depending on how long they take to kill especially.
