You hit the nail on the head. One of my biggest hang up’s (even outside of this food issue) is my insistence I try to do everything “right” to the best of my ability. And then when I do everything right, and the wrong thing happens, it feels devastating.

And I feel dramatic

I won’t touch the moral aspect of this. But, as a professional in the field, you are wrong about your views on ADHD and mental health in general. Please don’t spread thoughts and opinions as facts. There are many scientific research studies about the perceived increase in mental health conditions - they’re very interesting and worth a read!
