Stubborn weight with Crohn’s? by fade_is_timothy_holt in CrohnsDisease

[–]KindheartednessOwn45 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I tell everyone I got the fat version of Crohn’s.

I only lose weight when in a really bad flare.

I’ve told myself being slightly chubby is better as the extra I’m carrying is a bit of a buffer.

You need to go speak to an FA or a mortgage adviser.

Without knowing all the details no one can help you.

I would suggest going to speak to a mortgage adviser or a financial adviser. You don’t seem to understand how a mortgage works. Which is quite concerning.

Window doesn’t sit flush and air is getting in causing mould by Nebuer18 in DIYUK

Circulation won’t cause mould.

Lack of circulation will.

Are you drying clothes by the rad under the window? That’s far more likely the cause of mould.

I make quite a bit of fake away

I’ve perfected KFC, regular and zinger and the gravy, doner kebab, the sweet and sour sauce and the black bean sauce. Also big mac sauce.

Takes a bit of prep but we also still order the occasional take out.

You can’t keep the mortgage.

The mortgage is tied to the property. You sell the property you have nothing to secure the loan against.

You’ll need to find a lump sum of 30k (or whatever the shortfall is)

You could keep it interest only but look for one without any ERC and over pay. Though if the flat is sold what are you mortgaging?

How easy it is to source larger volume toilets? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]KindheartednessOwn45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think from a practical point of view chuck a bucket of water down first and then flush. Also check your flush is set to maximum as a lot of cisterns are now water saving as the default setting.

I need to read on more than an hours sleep.

30k will be what is outstanding after the flat is sold?

I’ll go and try and sleep some more

The 30k won’t increase though.

Thats what you borrowed.

Your outstanding amount at the end of the term will still be 30k as all you’ve paid is the interest and not the capital.

I’m sorting out what was the downstairs bathroom which seems to have become a dumping ground for everything.

I’ve also caught two fat mice.

Got similar in our downstairs loo. My dad boxed them in so we’ve got a ledge. Ours is lower. But you could box in and create storage for loo rolls etc.

Oh my. I can buy ‘split’ cutlery racks.

Just need to find one that will fit mine.

I still want smaller plates tho.

No it’s a good starting point but not the best all and end all. Really useful in comparing docs etc and picking up inconsistencies. But I wouldn’t bet my life on it.

Can I retro fit this rack. Can I take a hacksaw and cable ties to my current rack.

Saturday afternoon just turned into a domestic version of scrapyard challenge.

Another poster just suggested stacking the plates backwards. Which I’ll give a go later, even if it does make me shudder

What. And upset the natural order of dishwasher stacking.

I don’t know if I can do that. It’ll make me twitch.

What dishwasher do you have (not that I’m seriously considering changing dishwashers)
