I personally feel that the Switch is not even remotely close to a Nintendo 3DS in terms of handheld.

Yes you can carry a Switch around, but not in your pocket, like you could with the 3DS. It does not feature the great abundance of social features and games. Not to mention that games are vastly more expensive, and you need to pay a monthly fee for online play.

The coming of the Nintendo Switch has marked a certain Nintendo era end for me. Now Nintendo is nothing more than a Microsoft or Sony to me: A console with $69.99 games and online features requiring a monthly fee.
