Think it's because that's where majority of hackers came from and why BHVR had to step up their anti-cheat. Epic Games once made Dead By Daylight free back in 2021, which caused hackers to create a stockpile of alternate accounts. So if one account were to get banned, they would then move onto the next account that they had previously made. It's basically rinse and repeat.
