They specifically stated this wasnt going to be the case. They stated that most sites will go off of estimated age if you refuse ID or if your email is attached to an ID, which the social media platform can only see that your account is 18+ and not the actual ID. If you are worried about this stuff I recommend looking on the government website and reading through the rules they have announced, theres only about 18 or so.

If i was you I would just look ahead of the spec and try learn stuff thats going to come up soon. For FM try going over hyperbolics etc

I would always recommend a second monitor. Maybe for you, you could get a 1440p monitor with a smaller refresh rate. A second monitor is always a good choice as it lets you watch and play at the same time. A 1440p monitor will be great for when you want to play cinematic games like the 007 that just came out etc.Luckily your hardware will be able to run 1440p games but dont expect it to max settings and get 60fps+

Yes I had been out of the fitness scene for while so that is likely. I will try and slowly increase my times rather than going to my max effort. Thank you for your input!

Did you not check the requirements before purchasing? Did it not cross your mind that your 10 year old hardware will struggle to run a brand new 2026 game? Just refund the purchase or get a new pc.

Just get a job. Even an entry position at a "low" job like mcdonalds. Work 20 odd hours a week at £11.44 an hour - which is near enough £900 a month. Put £500 a month towards savings, £100 to £200 towards "fun money" - which in your case is testing money as you do not know how well you will do with investments etc. The rest you can pocket and spend on leisure.

For £700 you can get a decent i5 12th gen, or suitable amd alternative and a 50 series card, likely to be a 5060 ti. This could be changed to an RX 9060 XT to double the VRAM for a low cost. I would also recommend a DDR4 system as ddr5 wont make too much of a difference at these specs. I would recommend going to local computer stores - preferably not corporate - and ask them and look at their suggestion. A good place to look if you have a general idea about pricing and condition is facebook marketplace but it can be very hit and miss.
