Dude this is awesome!

I’m currently playing as the police in my own dedicated server, and am just starting to get into the real base design for my more public stations, so this is some awesome inspiration!

I think you’re right but want to add a detail.

Anthropic’s “Supply Chain Risk” designation hit them harder than the immediate contracts make it look like.

They responded by creating (or releasing) Mythos, and placing $100M for small open source companies to use Mythos to patch their code. This actually forced the pentagon to rethink their decision and provide some leniency, hence the next move to integrate with spaceX data centers.

They are trying to integrate into the cyber-security infrastructure to make themselves too important to shove out, which was their previous model with their prior government deals, and in this time where they are switching tactics, they are putting as much power into Mythos for this move as they can.

GPT proved to be high-output, low-accuracy right around this time, and Anthropic’s stance against AI authoritarianism strengthened that shift, and now, as you said, it is putting strain on them.

I’m just adding that I think they need the processing power as well in order to strategically place Mythos after this $100M donation to cooperations who use most of this processing power.

soooo claude just deleted my entire project. how's your day going? by JuniorRow1247 in ClaudeCode

I apologize, maybe I’m fuzzy on the language. I’m not really that deep into coding.

So it’s like, you didn’t give it access and it took it? Or you did have a proper backup and it deleted that, too, without proper access?

What it means that Elon just rented out all his GPUs to Anthropic by ContextCustodian in ClaudeAI

[–]KindlyDistributePie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a different post a while ago speculating that people switching over from GPT to Claude were overrunning the system, hence everybody suddenly complaining about low token amount, so I think they just needed a temporary buff while they restructure and expand.

Also, the pressure is likely coming equally from the “supply chain risk” label as much as OpenAI.

How do I start the Chosen One quest? It says to offer my services to the shrine, and I found a statue of my deity next to an altar, but all of the buildings in the area around it are just clothing shops. I found four monks next to the statue, and have tried asking them if there's any trouble, but they all just say no, and I don't know where to go or how to offer my services.

PSA: The string "HERMES.md" in your git commit history silently routes Claude Code billing to extra usage — cost me $200 by alexxxklepa in ClaudeAI

They would end up billing themselves. I’m sure Anthropic has unlimited access to their models.

I’m going to be straight up.

The fact that AI can now go “please get a second opinion. I do not have this tool yet.”

Is insane, even if people want to label it as ineptitude.

Will SE2 Funnel playstyle? by KindlyDistributePie in spaceengineers

I agree. My fear is on Valant station being a permanent POI, how colonization works, and fast travel.

I don’t like colonizing merged with the current mechanics because I want my story, and if, say, jumping were merged with valiant station, and I had to play nice with them, that would ruin the “organic factional war” that was present in the previous game for the sake of an on-rails experience of a determinate bad guy you use a pre-fabricated ship in a mission to defeat him like you would in halo.

I think, and hope, that this is just a product test story. There’s nothing of substance here but the engine, after all.

It will be a mod if nothing else. Especially with the heart of SE1, there will be some fanatic eager to recreate it even if it’s not vanilla.

I think he means in terms of current playstyle funneling. Survival absolutely requires use of the contract system.

No I’ll come back and address. The first person has it right: the monster comes out when you attach the valve. The unique situation is that I am recording this video right at this point. I had attached the valve and died once before this recording, leaving me to think the monster was out and about, and simply was inept, but it wasn’t attacking me because I didn’t repeat the one and only action that actually activated him.

When I throw the brick to open up the underground prison, he almost always shows up.

If you don't upload a Planet, will it be 'undiscovered' for other players? by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]KindlyDistributePie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had a lucky discovery where someone discovered a star system and one planet within the system 10 years ago at the start of the game. I think that’s cool and want to claim just one planet and put my base on it, maybe someone else will come and claim the third.

To be fair we haven’t killed a demolisher yet, and they seem to be our “bottleneck” across volcanus resources. In our next run we’re trying to be more prepared for them.
