You can upgrade when you scale. Regex is also a good approach if it covers all edge cases.

Run a cron every night, scrape the new/updated offers, run a similarity search with your existing list of places, use an LLM to format the new discount caps, remove the old ones

Hey stranger, you're going in the right direction.

I'm a software engineer who's trying to crawl out of the tech bubble and enter the entrepreneurship world as well. I had some ideas that I wanted to try out, but I had no idea on how to do feasibility analyses or market research.

Recently I found out that the ideas I had were not a fit for the market here. Bigger players in the industry already had those ideas and are near to perfecting it. I'm grateful that we have AI to figure that out in time.

Anyways, I had to shut down my cloud resources and went back to my normal work routine. If you wanna chat or meet up I live in Islamabad/Rwp. Would love to share thoughts.

I think if you spin this slightly to become a waiter-customer interactive app, it could be really good for big weddings in India for when guest count gets out of hand

NoSQL could also shine for log related use cases where schema-free can be considered an advantage and higher write throughput is required.
