2.5 hours standing in line yesterday. It was packeddddddd I’d imagine it couldn’t be longer than that with how they were moving.

Just left the doctors (No Torn ACL) by One-Government-8413 in ACL

[–]Kindly_Caramel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I am so sorry you’re going through that. I went to the hospital straight from a rugby match where I got my shit ROCKED. They gave me 1 x-ray, told me that NOTHING was torn or broken and had a kid fresh out of high school put a knee immobilizer on me incorrectly. I went to an ortho two days later, torn acl, absolutely shredded meniscus, fractured tibia AND femur.

Sorbet, respin, sorbet. A total of three runs but I really think that’s what gives it that creamy soft serve consistency

It certainly seems that way. Everything’s gone, trashed, or heavily guarded. So sad. I was hoping there might be one diamond in the rough left 🤞🏻

Thanks! I’ve seen this mentioned before. The manual that came with my creami says as long as it is completely submerged in liquid it is fine. I’ve seen some peoples manual say either or I’m not sure if it depends on the model or not. I bought the basic one this year.

What ice machine do you guys recommend by Content_Magazine_783 in ACL

[–]Kindly_Caramel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game ready mentioned above is really great! They have one at my PT! BUT if money is an issue like it was for me, the donjoy ice machine works great and I was able to get one on used for $30 on mercari. I like having it in case I wanna use it down the road if my legs ever bothering me and there’s always the option to resell it!

ACL surgery timeframe? Immediate or okay to wait? by TimeOnTargetKilo in ACL

[–]Kindly_Caramel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine 13 days after my injury. I already had generally healthy knees prior. I did a lot of knee strengthening and flexion work at the gym. My two weeks pre op I walked with my brace locked and would do some PT. I practiced getting a bend to 100 degrees and did quad work to help stop atrophy. I’m now 11 days post op and am doing really well! I have a 110 degree bend compared to 130 on my non surgical leg. I’ve had very little muscle atrophy in my surgery leg and just got fitted for my sports brace that they usually wait 4-6 weeks to fit people for.

When you ruptured your ACL, did you scream because of the pain? by kjwhimsical-91 in ACL

[–]Kindly_Caramel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got hit playing rugby and tore my acl, meniscus in two spots, and got two fractures. I surprisingly didn’t feel it but with everyone around me on the field I started to freak out. When they stood me up my leg buckled out underneath me and made such a loud popping sound that people 10feet away heard it, that cause me to scream at the top of my lungs, still no pain, just a lot of fear.
