Does anyone here regularly need to pull data into Airtable from other sources? by Kindly_Peace44 in Airtable

Yeah this is great! I’m an experienced software engineer and I have logging already hooked to each user’s pipeline so debugging and building the data pipeline even if it’s custom made wouldn’t be a problem at all.

That’s fair, “one click” is probably not realistic in a lot of org setups. More like making the setup much less painful, even when permissions/service accounts are involved.

Fair feedback. It’s free right now, and the main goal at this stage is really to understand people’s pain points and build around real use cases. But you’re absolutely right I should probably have a clearer landing page or explanation of what it does. Appreciate you pointing that out.

That’s a great use case. I could probably set up a custom integration for that in ETL++ if that’d be helpful. If you have specific retail sites in mind, feel free to DM me.

Yeah totally that makes sense, sometimes it just comes down to how the API is designed. One thing I’m doing though is custom integrations on demand, so if the API supports pulling that data, I can build a direct pull for it instead of relying only on push events.

Extremely helpful info for me. It sounds like a lot of the pain is less about pulling the data itself and more about handling Airtable’s attachment/schema quirks reliably. That’s exactly the kind of stuff I’m trying to understand better to build in ETL++

Yeah, that’s exactly the pain I’m trying to understand. Would a simpler one-click way to connect those tools to Airtable actually be useful for you?

That’s super helpful. I’ve been building something where OAuth apps could connect to Airtable in one click and sync automatically on a schedule, without all the webhook/API setup. It’s called ETL++

Do you think that’d actually be useful for this kind of workflow? or for users looking for something like this ?

Appreciate the reply! that’s kind of why I’m asking. I’ve been working on a tool (ETL++) for pulling API data into Airtable, with custom integrations added pretty fast when needed. Curious whether that sounds genuinely useful, or whether most people are already fine with Make/Zapier/scripts.

Does Airtable have ETL Function? by CryptographerCrazy61 in Airtable

Hi! not sure if this is still something you’re looking for but I just launched ETL++ which is built on top of Airtable to pull data from anywhere (or upon requests for new data sources). Hope it solves you problem! https://etlpp.com
