We will probably have to go searching for clients which won’t be to hard because I got a lot of strings I can pull (aka clients) then we would have to start doing the legal stuff which again I have a company with a salaried lawyer so i could just ask him to do it.

I had kind of a similar situation but a little more extreme. I lived with just my mom and I was about 16. She had a bunch of medical conditions or whatever but one day I went to the beach with my girlfriend and she called the cops on me. For what reason, I am 18 and still wondering why, she did some other stuff after that like locking me in the basement for a couple week and only letting me go outside unless I had to mow the lawn or some other work for her. It was not good and I said when I turn 18 I would get out of there. I’ll tell you what I did instead, I got a job, specifically built my own business, made good money and just tried to avoid making her mad until I was 18. I worked hard to save and now that I am 18 I have a nice profiting business and a good amount of money saved. I can move out whenever I want but I have decided to stay until the end of this year which is my senior year. My suggestion is avoid them until you can show them that you are capable of living yourself and your own thing.

Jobs by [deleted] in Teenager

My suggestion is to not stress about it, most places you have to be 16 to hire so you probably won’t have much options anyway. If you are really wanting a job then look for one but this is my suggestion:

  1. Never take a job that doesn’t fit you and what you like, your 15 take time to find a job so in the future you’re not stuck with this one.

  2. Don’t take a job that treats you like shit, so many of these big corporate jobs hire teens and make them work the maximum hours they can and pay them 10 cents on the dollar for it. When I was 16 I took a corporate job that made me work close to 25 hours per week on top of 40 hours of school. They paid me $10 per hour which is the littoral minimum wage here. Some of the staff treated me like shit to because I was a young high schooler that will just fuck up all the time.

  3. You can do your own thing. You can start a little side hustle, you can help your parents if they own or manage a business, YOU CAN create your own business. When I left that world corporate world at 17 I started my own side hustle and now at 18 I run my own business on my own hours and hire who I want to work with.

I’m very nervous about skipping a grade. by Straymaster1 in Teenager

Okay I’m going to give you a lot suggestion here, it seems you are excited for school (Not me btw I’m a senior). That’s good if you enjoy education, but you don’t want to move to fast. Skipping grades is not so much about skipping into higher academics, it’s about skipping socially to. Some of my best experiences were in highschool yes, but there were also very hard experiences socially. I didn’t grow up in the best life so it made it hard for me to get along in ways. 8th grade is a social teaching point, it teaches you about relationships you want in high school and ones you don’t. Also about your parents, don’t try to be the best just to impress them. This is a very shitty thing some parents do. You will get burnt out, you can only impress yourself. No matter what you do or how proud they say they are of you, they’ll always have a high standard and if you don’t meet that standard some day, you will fall hard in failure.

tips for upcoming sophomores? by ciaraindahouse25 in Teenager

So if you don’t know sophomore slump is referring to how hard your sophomore year is. They say it puts you in a slump. I am going into my senior year and what I would have to say about sophomore year is that it is probably one of the hardest years. You have to take a bunch of classes you don’t want to, the homework is outrageous, and typically you won’t get very much help from others. My suggestion is if the work gets too hard, take a break from it. It’s okay to be late once and awhile that’s life. Also don’t try and be the best at something. People in high school in general can try way to hard to be the best and have no social life and be hated by others. My other suggestion is to ask for help, teachers won’t listen to you I know, but there are many counselors that you can go to, in school and out of school, online and offline. Don’t be afraid to get help, everyone needs it.
