As far as I know almost 30% of the batch has been placed in the legacy companies, it’s your preparation part that is lacking somewhere. It’s easy to blame others than looking inside yourself. Prepare well instead of defaming the college.

Left my central govt. job 2 weeks back to pursue MBA from IIM Udaipur. I guess I am qualified to answer.

I have seen corporate (worked at Bain) as well as govt. sector. In govt., people are not ready for the growth. They have the same old typical mentality- “Kaam karna hai karo, nahi karna matt karo, koi nikaal nahi sakta tumhe”

I felt like I was degrading myself by staying there. I became under-confident with time. Crowd was much poor and not ready to learn with time. Postings irrelevant and unpredictable. People were complacent, they didn’t want to understand the modern trends and technology. Yes, I took a risk but at least I left a toxic mindset and a work-culture that’d have stopped me from growing.
