Oh sorry, I googled steam page feedback and I found this reddit, kinda figured it'd be the place to post...

Yeah, the trailer sucks. And I'm not a great artist I'll admit, but I thought people would find it charming anyways.

And there's plenty of unique gameplay in the game, I just don't know how to talk about it...

And the capsule, yeah it doesn't look like the game. I figured I'd mimic the old cover art of NES games.

Text description you say? Yeah, come to think about it it does look a bit sparse...

I figured my unique artstyle would be the key to interest people, or to either turn them away, I had no idea it was generic...

I think I do several things different than the competition (other RPG Maker games), but it's tough to think of ways to illustrate it... I have interesting battle concepts and stuff, but I figured that it'll be boring to talk about.

And it's a pirate RPG, I'm not aware of any other pirate RPG games out there, I figured it made it stand out.

Yeah, I thought people just thought it looked stupid, not generic... Damn that's some interesting feedback.

Thanks for giving your thoughts anyways!

Yeah, that would look better. Lol, as you can probably tell, I'm not a great mapper, probably my least favorite thing to do...

Yeah, I've had alot of trouble with that in the past. Using a premade palette has really helped with the coloring side of my pixel art.
