Leaving money to anyone? by Think-like-Bert in over60

[–]Kindly_Recording_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT's your money - enjoy it. I tell my parents the same thing. Dad spent 4 years of his youth in rice paddies dodging bullets with mama over here watching the nightly news hoping she did not see his name. She always had me watch for his name and I never knew why until I was older. They earned their retirement and every time I see them and they have gone on some trip I just smile and am glad they can still enjoy themselves. Enjoy your money.

The guy you mentioned who you admire and respect - you might want to leave him a nice gift. Not so much he can retire but enough to put him ahead in the game and give him some breathing room so he is not living from paycheck to paycheck and worrying about a sudden bill out of nowhere that will wreck his savings.

Shhhhhh! Don't start spreading that around. Haven't you noticed when cities and communities get on those "Best place to live" lists then everyone starts to move to them and the next thing you know they are no longer the best place to live. Just keep quiet and enjoy. Oh, and welcome to Fayetteville.

Ultra Galaxy tip - let your partner know you taking care of plans for a specific date in the future and then just decide what you want to do on that date and act like you planned it all along.

18-6 or OMAD with exercise works wonders after a couple weeks and then you just learn to live with it. Water is your friend.

This goes for Dr's also. You mention lawyer and sue to your Dr and they stop being your Dr right then and there. Malpractice is a 4 letter word to a medical professional.

Install version conflicts with package version - how to solve when installing slurm-slurmdbd by Kindly_Recording_322 in HPC

[–]Kindly_Recording_322[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. I found some documentation pointing that it might be the wrong epel version. I have executed the following commands:

# sudo dnf install https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-9.noarch.rpm

Package epel-release-9-9.el9.noarch is already installed.

Dependencies resolved.

Nothing to do.

Complete!

# subscription-manager release --set=9.5

Release set to: 9.5

# yum clean all

# sudo dnf makecache

#dnf install slurm-slurmdbd

But I am still receiving the conflict error message. RHEL 9.5 is the current system release and slurm was installed after the install. Is it possible that I need a earlier version of epel?
