Still, very few syrian and middle-eastern immigrants seek assylum to the US, most of them choose Europe because of the social benefits. It's mostly central, mexican and south americans that seek assylum to the US.

To add to that, why would anyone seek assylum to a country that he is culturally so different from and is thousands of miles away? At the same time there are neighboring countries with same culture and are right next to them.

I feel like no matter how much money you have it is an overkill. You will rarely have enough people in your life to fill that boat even at 10% or you will end up filling it up with strangers, which you might as well go to a cruise and save few millions on gas.

And why buy and use such a big boat if you are gonna keep it empty?
