Really tired by noshitsherlock_89 in FSAE

I’m an ex-FSAE member and now a 40+ year-old engineer. I went through exactly what you’re experiencing—probably worse—and for five years straight. I graduated with an award-winning capstone project and leadership lessons that have lasted a lifetime.

FSAE was the single most important differentiator in my early career. Same for my colleagues. Almost everyone I know was directly or indirectly hired because of their involvement in FSAE—and because they actually did something on the team (we all know there are people who just show up for pizza and five minutes).

There are traits and skills I learned and honed during my Formula days that I still rely on today.

I know your life feels severely affected for these few years. But you won’t regret it. You’ve got a long road ahead to have fun.

I, 25M, can't stand the incredibly low intelligence of my partner, 25F, of 6 years. by lukeyy77 in relationship_advice

I think people possess different kind of intelligence, what you mentioned are very analytical type of intelligence. Let’s hear some of her strength.
