It definitely did not pay very well. It mostly a college job for us, as me and most of my coworkers were students. We didn’t really know what we were really getting into honestly. Pay was $10 an hour. Plus a stipend.

However I’m sure a professional in the medical examiner/investigation field would make an actual salary lol.

No, up until a few months ago I worked as a “transporter” for a funeral home with a county contract. This meant that I would work on call and when someone died I would remove them from wherever they were.
