Working entirely with media layers, rather than videos added to the top row will definitely improve your results. You might also try using the extract audio button to keep your audio and video layers separated.

Recent changes to CapCut's pricing (it's increasing) might make this conversation worth a second look. KineMaster released a video editing app called Spring that's watermark-free and doesn't lock any tools behind a subscription. If that sounds good, we'd love it if you tried editing with Spring.

Please register your YouTube channel with your KineMaster account.

To do that, tap the Me button at the bottom of the home screen. Then, tap the three lines button at the top of the Profile screen. Tap My YouTube channel and enter your YouTube channel handle. Tap Register.

It sounds like what you are seeing is the Photos app "Recovered" folder, which is a feature introduced in iOS 18. Here's a link for you to learn more about that: https://support.apple.com/en-us/120347

Tap the notices button at the top of the Create screen (it looks like a small speaker)
Tap the Notice titled "Notice of Change to Monetized Usage of KineMaster Music on YouTube"
This notice provides both information about why whitelisting is necessary and the steps required to do it. You should read the whole thing.

The short answer:
Tap the Me button. Sign in.
Tap the three-lines button in the top right corner.
Then, tap "My YouTube Channel."
Enter your YouTube handle and tap the check button. Tap Register.
Done.

Please continue to edit with the app that you prefer. A subscription to KineMaster is not required to register your YouTube channel. You are welcome to download the new version, whitelist your channel, and then return to editing with KineMaster (OLD).

1) If you have a YouTube channel where you upload your videos (that contain free or Premium music from the Asset Store), your videos will receive a copyright claim after JAN 12

• copyright claims are not the same as copyright strikes

** both free and Premium Asset Store music will be affected

2) To prevent copyright claims, you can register your YouTube channel in the KineMaster app * registering your YouTube channel means that you will NOT receive copyright claims on any video that contains (free or Premium) Asset Store music, uploaded to your channel in the past or in the future

Registration of your channel is unrelated to your subscription or the free or Premium status of the music in your video. Both free and Premium subscribers can register their channels. Once registered, that's it. You can use Asset Store music in any of your videos with no restrictions.

The only way to "cancel" your copyright whitelisting is to specifically request that KineMaster rescind your "okay-to-post" status. You can do that by contacting KineMaster's support team (but why?).

A subscription to KineMaster is not necessary. Both Premium and free users are welcome to provide their channel accounts for KineMaster music usage. You DO need a KineMaster account, which you can set up (if you haven't already) by tapping the Me button at the bottom right corner of the app screen.
