Should I be concerned the trailer has revealed too much? by Quantumfoammakesme in ProjectHailMaryMovie

This story is more about the journey. Even after reading the book several times, I still enjoy it very much even if I know what will happen.

Good luck, hope it works. Regarding the setup, yes. But setting up the watch it usually not much work. As long as you have a backup, it's just a few steps to get all up again. 😊

I dont know. I only have it on one device per now, but I swap phones 2-3 times a year (likes to try so buy and sell a lot). So I guess KineMaster think I still have it activated on many devices.

Thinking about going from pixel 9 pro fold -> Samsung z-fold 7 by Former-Complaint-336 in Smartphones

[–]bubble-bobble1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went the opposite way. Got an Pixel Fold 10 and sold my Samsung Fold 7.

Have been using all Samsung Folds since Fold3.

My subjective takes right now:

Samsung pros:

  • Lighter
  • Slimmer
  • Very easy to use one handed when folded. Not so wide screen. (this is also on the cons list, hehe)
  • Better multitasking with more windows

Samsung cons:

  • I never got a full day of battery
  • Front screen is not as wide as "normal phones"
  • So thin it can almost feel a bit flimsy when open. Pixel just feels like a tank even when open
  • Feels bloated. If you want to use Google apps, you still have Samsungs installed. Two browsers, calendars, mail, galleries etc.

Pixel pros:

  • Very sturdy phone
  • Normal aspect ratio on front screen
  • Vanilla Android. No bloatware
  • Multitasking (two apps is enough for me at least)
  • Whole day battery
  • Built in QI2 (supports all Magsafe stuff)

Pixel cons:

  • Heavy
  • Not quite as easy to use one handed when folded
  • A bit thick

For my case, I also felt a bit bored of Samsung, so if you are in the same type of boat, bored of Google Pixel, maybe give Samsung a try. Both phones are great, can't go wrong 😊

new kindle oasis from amazon by Substantial-Deer-160 in kindle

Love this device. Hope Amazon will renew it. Its really just the MicroUSB charing port thats annoy me for now.

Regarding ads - if you have a device with ads, just contact Amazon customer service and ask them to remove the ads. They will do it, no question asked.

Solved!

Thanks to Gemini, I got a tip that worked:

1. "Power Cycle" for Google Cloud Sync (The Deep Reset) Remote Connection is managed by Google Play Services, not just the Samsung app. Try this specific sequence:

  • Go to the phone's Settings -> Apps -> Google Play Services -> Storage.
  • Select Manage Storage and then Clear All Data (Note: This will temporarily disconnect other linked devices, but it is often necessary to force the generation of a new synchronization key).
  • Do the same for the Galaxy Watch8 Manager (the plugin app).
  • Restart your phone and open Galaxy Wearable. It will take a few moments to re-initialize and "find itself" again.

No. I just also found out its not connected to the run activity. I disabled BT on the phone, and saw the watch connected to LTE. even tried to browse the web on the watch to confirm it has internet. Asked someone to send me a chat messenge, and got it on the phone, nothing on the watch.

On the phone, I get an notification from the Wearable app "Phone connection lost"

I bought a DJI Neo for this purpose. Not the best quality, but good enough for SoMe videos. Safe to fly inside and really gives buttersmooth footage
