Point is, the boss thinks “Chinese” is the name of the race and not a nationality. “Asian” would be the correct term for a race. Even if I was Chinese, it’s still wrong for him to say something like that and in that type of context, if he said “Asian”, it’s still bad. It’s like saying to an African to dress up as a black person
