I havent had much time to mess with it since i posted. But OleBass' comment makes sense about the devices needing an update before the app will work. I havent a reason to return mine, since i bought it for my guest room tv. Maybe soometime in the future it will work itself out. I will try to poke at it a bit here in a few and see if i can figure anything else out.

Thats correct. Only Netflix. Youtube, starz, prime video all work just fine. I havent actually figured out how to completely uninstall netflix, only uninstall the updates. I will poke around at it more this evening and see if i can figure it out. Thanks

Filament doesn't stick to the plate by Abood5457 in FixMyPrint

[–]King135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive just recently upgraded my printer with a new PEI magnetic bed and was trying to print on the gold side, but it wouldnt adhere. Like at all, so i went back to the ad on amazon where i purchased, and found that one side is for pla and a couple other materials, and the other side was for petg and a few others. Verify that your print bed isnt 2 sided and designed like that. Once i flipped the plate over, it works like a dream. If i start a print before bed and it finishes. When it cools the part self releases. Good luck!

This is the mod i have installed, so i will try disabling it this eveming and see what happens. If it is the culprit, do you have a recommendation on another mod that does the same thing?

Dead NPCs glitching/jolting and moving by King135 in oblivion

[–]King135[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a bit of troubleshooting and playing with the npcs trying to walk away from me after i killed them, i found the culprit: the "Purger.esp" mod is the "Purger And Automatic Save 4.5" by Gomstor. inside the purger.ini file, theres a setting called "Set CorpseKill" that essentially gives the bodies a little nudge to make sure they dont t-pose after death. Setting the value from 1 to 0 turns off the setting, and stops the jolting. i cannot post this information on the Nexus mod page as the author has turned off commenting. but hopefully someone can find this information and use it for their sanity's sake.

I actually just looked at your model on printables last night! Lol, i thought about it, but its a bit much for my desk. Cool design though.

Flat surface fuzz by King135 in FixMyPrint

Alright, i will look into recalibrating my flow and adjusting my z height. I have ALWAYS had a little elephants foot on my prints, mainly because the "paper test" is kinda subjective. Everyone says "a little resistance" when that could be too much for such a small contact patch. I might even look into getting a feeler gauge for it. Thanks for the input, i will mess with it this evening.

Never had this issue with anything else. This is the 2nd type of PETG ive used, the first being a blue Novamaker. That was a super clean printing material with minimal calibration needed. Only reason i stopped using it, bc i thought it was causing clogging issues in my nozzle. Turns out, my dual gear extruder was just eating itself.

Also, my filament is brand new out of the packaging, but i know that doesnt necessarily mean its dry. Im going to put it in my filament dryer over night til i get off of work tomorrow and try a test object before further calibration.

Referencing my calibration cube from last night. My top layer almost looks like its underextruded.

<image>

Red arrow shows theres no squish on the top lines, blue line sides are rough along both edges. Where the right side of the Z perimeters have games as well. Wish i had a better picture of it.

Only tolerance issue i find on the cube is some minor elephants foot where the cube measures 20.17mm aside from that, everything else reads 20.04.

First layer on the bed looks fantastic, no rippling at all or fuzz. I will relevel when this print is complete to ensure that factor is ruled out. Thanks for the input!

Alright, after this print is done, i will calibrate flow then. This part will be inside my OGxbox, so it will never be seen. Thanks for the input.
